Thanks for wondering about me.

I live in St. Louis, Michigan, have my Coldwell Banker office in Alma, and have been a REALTORŪ since 1998.

I am a REALTORŪ full time. Your goal, whether it's to buy or sell, is my goal.

The rest of my life before I moved here, I lived in Cheboygan where I had my own office preparing income tax returns and also owned my own catering business which I called "Sue N Crew" because I couldn't have done it without my crew.

In an effort to be the best REALTORŪ I can be, I continually attend seminars and training classes. I also serve in various ways at the Board level with the Central Michigan Association of REALTORŪ. This involvement allows me to be aware of what is going on in the real estate industry so I can serve you better.

I have been fortunate to help many buyers and sellers achieve their dreams and because of them I have received recognition from Coldwell Banker each year.

Even though I am very involved with real estate, I cherish the time I spend with my husband, daughters and their husbands, and my three precious grandbabies.

I am also a member of Gratiot County Toastmasters and St. Mary's Catholic Church.

I look forward to hearing from you and will consider it an honor to help you with your real estate needs.

Sue Welling named REALTORŪ of the Year...........

Sue Welling, Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker Superior Real Estate in Alma was recognized as REALTORŪ of the Year at the annual awards banquet held December 2nd by the Central Michigan Association of REALTORSŪ. The award is the highest honor the association gives to a member in recognition of upholding the standards of professionalism, ethics, association participation and community involvement.

Sue expressed surprise and appreciation for the award. "I am very proud to be a REALTORŪ. The people who have received this award in the past are the epitome of real estate professionals. I am so honored to be named this year's recipient."

Sue's real estate career began in 1998. In 1999 she purchased the Coldwell Banker franchise in Alma. In 2000 she became the Broker/Owner and today oversees a staff of full-time sales associates.

Sue has served as the 2005 Central Michigan Association of REALTORSŪ President, past Board of Director member, Chairman of various committees, as well as being active in REALTORŪ Reach-out Day and a local food bank participant.

"I got involved at the board level to gain experience and knowledge. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that makes our association and its members strong" Sue stated.

Along with being a member of the Central Michigan Association of REALTORSŪ, she is also a member of the Michigan Association of REALTORSŪ and the National Association of REALTORSŪ. Sue has received awards from Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation every year since she began her real estate career. She has also earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), e-PRO and Graduate RealtorŪ Institute (GRI) designations since beginning her real estate career 8 years ago.

"I really enjoy helping people buy and sell their real estate. If I have any regrets, it would be that I didn't pursue this career right out of college", says Sue. Her hobbies include cooking, visiting, telling and listening to stories.

Local community involvement includes the Gratiot County Relay for Life and Gratiot County Toastmasters.

Sue and her husband, Frank, have been married since 1972. Together they raised two daughters and have been blessed with two son-in-laws and three precious grandchildren.
